The Art-Yard Dahrendstedt is a privately established and maintained cultural centre and has been awarded the first cultural prize of the city of Stendal in 2012: “for its extraordinary and creative performance and actions, for its events and exhibitions, which serve to enhance the art and culture and thus cultural live in the rural area in an outstanding way”.

The Art-Yard hosts stipend holders of Saxony-Anhalt Every year the cultural ministry of the said Bundesland announces two stipends for four weeks each. The residency of our artists is sponsored by the Hanseatic city of Stendal, the art society CityChange, the Art Yard Dahrenstedt and other private sponsors.

The calm and spacey halls of the Art Yard are ideally suited to host management or other meetings to think about the future of your company, stage seminars or to hold workshops.
